Shinbones Man - Focusrite Clarett Octoplus power fault - Gav Tries To Fix (with video)

Ryan from @leadbylies brought me this faulty Focusrite Clarett Octoplus to look at. It had been shutting itself down, and getting worse and worse, to the point where it wouldn’t power on at all.

On dismantling it, I could see the voltages on the test points were wrong. There was a power board, could I replace it?

How about - could I replace it without mounting the replacement wrong and causing arcing?

And can my dad help sort out my bungling? On Christmas day, no less?
