Evaluating a Shure MX418DS gooseneck podium mic for church usage (with video)

Sounds good to ol’cloth ears over here!

I have not processed the audio at all; no EQ, compression or gate, just auto-normalised in iMovie.

My only concern is that our lectern at church is on approximately a 30’ slope. The mic base includes some screws for mounting though so hopefully it’ll be cool…
