Why Samplers Scare Me - story time (with video)

The main instrument I used in 2024 was the Polyend Tracker, which is amongst other things, a sampler. I’ve been making digital music since the early 90s. So why am I scared of samplers?

Composed partially at the kids’ BJJ class and secondly when they were tearing around a softplay. I was gonna get deafened in the soft play either way so might as well bring my headphones!
